Self Portrait — Body & Silence
The body as the only honest mirror.
Drawn in 2000, this is a self-portrait,  not of the face, but of the form. The choice to remove the gaze was deliberate: identity lives here in muscle, shadow, and gesture. Strength and vulnerability occupying the same space, neither one winning.
Charcoal and pastel. Twenty-five years old. Still true.
